Ashton Court Care home comprises of 42 en-suite rooms, 4 spacious living areas, a hair dressing salon with a nail bar and a full service kitchen and laundry facilities.
Across 4 floors, Ashton Court boasts a traditional ‘Ashton Arms’ pub, library, tea room and cinema room, with a shop for added convenience.
Our specialist AMI floor provides everything you need for piece of mind that you are in safe hands offering a full sensory experience in an environment that promotes cognitive development.
ACCOMMODATION
Our premises have been purpose built for the purpose of care and boast modern, state of the art facilities to ensure not only safety and security for residents but also provide a pleasant and comfortable living environment.
We encourage guests to make the place their own and furnish their rooms with their own ornaments, photographs, keepsakes and even small pieces of furniture. All 42 rooms come with an en-suite, wardrobe, drawers and single beds as standard.
ACTIVITIES
At Ashton Court, we encourage our residents to live life to the full, and spend every day as they wish.
There are plenty of activities to partake in throughout the day including music and movement, games and film nights, as well as group outings. Residents can socialise in one of the communal sitting rooms or soak up some sun in the beautiful gardens. We also have our own ‘in house’ salon with a visiting hair dresser, as well as a number of other visiting professionals from entertainers to dentists and a monthly visit from the local church. We also now have Biscuit, the WAG dog visiting, the Rita System and also plans of a sensory room.
From the library or cinema room to the tea room or traditional Ashton Arms pub, our residents are never short of things to do.
CATERING
Aside from scheduled breakfast, lunch and dinner which can be eaten with other residents or in the privacy of their rooms, there are always a number of food choices and alternatives available throughout the day to suit any taste preference and appetite.
From light bites to three course meals, we will happily accommodate special diets whether they are for cultural or clinical reasons and we have a number of special menus available.
We are avid fans of afternoon tea and always have plenty of home baked cakes and biscuits that can be enjoyed either in the social areas, tearoom or as room service and friends and family are always encouraged to join.
